For some boaters, the moment Labor Day weekend is over, we get into the mode of wrapping up the summer and saying "good-bye" to our beautiful vessels, as they go into storage until next spring. For others, September and most of October is a boater's paradise. Fall boating during the foliage changes is one of the most beautiful #LakeLife experiences on Wallenpaupack. Sure, you may be switching gears from swim trunks to hoodies, and slushies to warm cider; but the boat traffic as such a low, that it's as if you have a whole lake to yourself.

The area has a decent amount of seasonal residents and "winter-birds" who go south for the winter. Lighthouse Harbor Marina switches from Summer Launch mode to winterization and storage mode super quickly. This time of year is also one of the absolute best times to buy or upgrade your boat! Leftover new inventory is at the lowest prices of the year, where you can save thousands of dollars, compared to their first released prices.
